I just switched web hosts, so please excuse the utter chaos that is this site. I hope to restore it to its former loveliness rather soon.

Update: Everything is back up and running! What has this taught me? To make copious notes (and backups!) so that I never have to go through this again. Now that my installation of WordPress is operational, I will try hard not to ever visit the Hostgator panel ever again.

Basically, aside from the knitting Meetups that I conduct once or twice a month, I haven’t knit at all since May. I can’t even contemplate working with yarn when it’s over 90 degrees, and it has only dropped under that for maybe a week since late spring. I want to finish my awesomely pretty sweater, though, so I may suck it up and get going again soon. We shall see.

Just a note here that I am not going back and sneaking in new posts dated over a week ago; I had set up several drafts to publish at different times last week, and most of them didn’t go through 🙁

I spent a lot of time today photographing yarns that I’ve been hoarding and then uploading and cataloging the yarns on Ravelry. I also FINALLY figured out how to add a progress meter and a gallery of my finished objects to this site, making it a little bit more interesting to look at. Hope you enjoy it!

I sort of doubt that anybody will feel the burning need to visit this site and poke around within the next couple of hours, but just in case this indeed happens, I want to give a heads up that I will be moving all of the photos in my posts to this server, and that posts may look wonky for a little bit.
